Does this Simulation Explain Why Life is Unfair?
If you had a room full of 100 people and gave each of them a dollar, then every day, had each person give a dollar to another randomly-selected person, what do you think would happen?
I first read about this simulation in a blog post several years ago, and the results really surprised me. I programmed my own version using p5.js while working on a video for Comingle exploring the nature of wealth inequality.
